Silicone

We craft our molds from premium-quality flexible silicone, ideal for making beeswax candles. Designed for durability and can be used countless times with proper care, ensuring a long-lasting investment.

Demolding: The soft, flexible silicone ensures effortless candle removal, eliminating the need for a separator.

Wick & Sizes

Most of our candles are intend to be used uncut. Thus for easier wick inserting each order includes either metal wire or nails to facilitate wick placement.
Watch our tutorials to learn how to use the provided wire.

For more info on wick types and right sizes for each candle, read here.

Wax & Cleaning

We advise using only natural beeswax to ensure the best performance. Keep in mind that synthetic dyes or other wax types might cause stains or demolding problems, and we are not liable for any resulting issues.

Cleaning: Easily cleanable with warm water and soap. Regular cleaning is recommended to ensure the mold's longevity.

WAVES TEA LIGHTS is a handmade, reusable silicone candle mould for making beeswax tea light candles with a swirling wave pattern, in two grid sizes: 2x2 (4 candles per pour) and 3x3 (9 candles per pour).

What you'll make

A small round tea light with a swirling wave pattern pressed into the top, so the surface catches light in soft ripples once the candle is out of the mould. Choose the 2x2 grid for a quick batch of four, or the 3x3 grid when you want nine at once, both in the same compact tea light size.

Specifications

  • 2x2 grid: 1.8 cm tall (0.71 in), 3.5 cm wide (1.38 in) per candle, 4 cavities, approx. 15 g per candle, approx. 60 g per full pour
  • 3x3 grid: 1.8 cm tall (0.71 in), 3.5 cm wide (1.38 in) per candle, 9 cavities, approx. 15 g per candle, approx. 135 g per full pour
  • Material: high-quality Italian silicone
  • Made for: pure beeswax

How to use it

  1. Thread a wick through the base of each cavity and centre it at the top.
  2. Heat beeswax to 70-75 °C and pour steadily into each cavity to avoid air pockets.
  3. Leave to cure at room temperature until fully set.
  4. Flex the silicone and release. No release agent needed.

Common questions

How big is the finished candle?
1.8 cm tall and 3.5 cm wide, about 15 g each, the same in both grid sizes.

How much wax do I need per candle?
About 15 g of beeswax per candle.

How many candles does one pour make?
The 2x2 grid makes 4 candles per pour, the 3x3 grid makes 9.

How much wax do I need for a full pour?
About 60 g for the 2x2 grid (15 g x 4), or about 135 g for the 3x3 grid (15 g x 9).

Is the mould handmade?
Yes. Every mould is designed and made by us in Latvia.

Do I need a release agent?
No. The silicone flexes and cured candles release cleanly on their own.

Can I use soy or paraffin wax?
The mould is made for pure beeswax. Other waxes are used at your own risk. We cannot take responsibility if the mould or candle does not work with anything other than pure beeswax.

How long does the mould last?
Hundreds of pours. With proper care, meaning an occasional wash with soap and warm water, customers are still using theirs after years.

Do you ship internationally?
Yes. Ships worldwide from Latvia.
